Just when I thought my five-year-old daughter Cate might be getting sick of the whole Frozen franchise, she requested a Frozen-inspired birthday party. So last Sunday, we invited a few of her friends over to celebrate. Everyone had a blast!
We had several icey activities, like snow bubbles, snowman building and face painting courtesy of the uber talented Crystalooneys. I found the bubbles idea on Pinterest and used an empty fabric softener container, filled it with dawn and water to make the bubble solution. I printed the labels on standard Avery label paper and used some rubbing alcohol to remove any fabric softener residue. We made the bubble wands out of pipe cleaners and beadsâa job my seven-year-old was more than happy to take care of.
What Frozen party would be complete without some snowman building? But I wanted to keep it simple and mess-free. The kids used pre-cut snow balls, pipe cleaners, googley eyes and markers.
And of course, we needed snowy snacks, like melted snow (Blue Raspberry Kool Aid) and Olaf cheese sticks:
