AARP’s member event attracts
over 20,000 members, cool celebrities
and scores of sponsors each year
The branding for each of AARP’s member events starts with the design of a set of lapel pins for high-level sponsors to give away at their booths. The pins are so popular that members collect them and their collection is a point of pride. For that reason, the pins have become a staple of the event branding.
The look and feel I created harkened back to the Vegas of the 60s with retro illustrations and color palette. At just one inch and highlighting all Vegas has to offer, they provided a fun design challenge that became the basis for all of the event graphics including the extensive program and signage.
